Lipstick Shade of Summer 2012

I just wanted to alert you to some exciting lippie news, as revealed by Elle's Beauty Notes earlier today...

Karen Walker's S/S 2012 catwalk show featured this amazing, almost luminous coral lippie, mixed by make-up artist Jenna Menard especially for the event.

Good news! Clinique will be releasing it as a limited edition shade called Runway Coral, retailing at £16, on 12 April! Coral hues, be it on your lips, cheeks or nails, are the ultimate pretty pick-me-up in preparation for spring. Start wearing it now while we're still going through the classic British changeable March weather to make sure you've got a little sunshine everyday! As soon as April rolls around, get your hands on this beautiful shade - it's forecast to shoot off the shelves.

In the meantime, have a read for some of my favourite coral products that you can pick up while you're waiting, and a video taken at the New York show where Menard gives some amazing tips for creating the structural look.
